### Welcome to IJCNLP-AACL 2025! 
<br>It is a great honor to host this joint conference in Mumbai, India, from December 20 to 24, 2025. The joint conferences of IJCNLP and AACL are organized with alternating leadership in the Asia-Pacific region. The event is run by the Asian Federation of Natural Language Processing (AFNLP) in odd years, and by AACL in even years, while it is organized solely by ACL when the annual ACL meeting is held in the region. This year, the conference is primarily organized by AFNLP.<br>

IJCNLP-AACL 2025

The AAAI 2025 presidential panel on the future of AI research aims to help all AI stakeholders navigate the recent significant transformations in AI capabilities, as well as AI research methodologies, environments, and communities. It includes 17 chapters, each covering one topic related to AI research, and sketching its history, current trends and open challenges. The study has been conducted by 25 AI researchers and supported by 15 additional contributors and 475 respondents to a community survey.

Celebrate 30 Years of EMNLP! 
EMNLP 2025 will be held in Suzhou, China from November 5th to November 9th, 2025.

The Chen Institute Symposium for AI Accelerated Science, organized in partnership by the Chen Institute and UC Berkeley College of Computing Data, Science, and Society, is an annual event dedicated to exploring groundbreaking advancements in AI that are reshaping scientific discovery across disciplines. Each year, leading researchers, industry innovators, and influential thought leaders gather to discuss how cutting-edge AI methodologies - such as foundational models, long-term memory mechanisms, synthetic data generation, and research process automation - are revolutionizing the scientific landscape.

The symposium featured plenary lectures, interactive breakout sessions, and in-depth discussions focused on emerging AI breakthroughs and their transformative impact on fields including medicine, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. 

The event culminated in the prestigious Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute and Science Prize for AI Accelerated Research Award Ceremony. This prize honors exceptional early-career scientists whose empirical discoveries in the physical or life sciences were made possible through the innovative use of AI techniques.

* **Score posters in the semifinals** to help decide the top five finalists (AMA member exclusive opportunity)
* **Connect with presenters** and provide feedback to help advance their research
* **New this year: Watch live poster presentations** by topic area and engage directly with researchers

At the conclusion of this event, the AMA will announce the top five finalists who will advance to the AMA Research Challenge final round, present their research to an elite panel of judges, and compete to win a $10,000 grand prize presented by Laurel Road.

The Tenth Peer Review Congress featured 3 days for presentations of new research into peer review and all aspects of scientific publication, bias, quality of reporting, and information access and dissemination.

This year’s meeting was hybrid, and all plenary sessions were livestreamed with opportunities to view presentations and engage with participants in person and virtually during and after the meeting. All recordings are now available on Underline for viewing.

The Congress embraces a wide range of disciplines, including biomedicine, health and life sciences, applied sciences, basic sciences, physical and chemical sciences, mathematics, computer sciences, engineering, economics, and social sciences as well as new and emerging disciplines.
