Ishika is a final year undergrad, pursuing double major in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science at IIT Kanpur, India. In the past, she has done a research internship under Prof. Pengtao Xie at UC San Diego, and at Adobe Research, India. Ishika is currently working under Prof. Ashutosh Modi at IIT Kanpur on Affective NLP. Her research interests are across NLP, RL and ML theory; primarily around how language can be utilized in robot learning.
Ahsan has recently graduated with a major in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He holds a minor degree in Machine Learning, Computer Systems and Theoretical Computer Science. Ahsan has worked under Prof. Ashutosh Modi at IIT Kanpur on Affective NLP. He is primarily interested in statistical NLP, generative ML models and computer systems. He has made contributions to the FreeBSD operating system, mainly around its network stack and is currently working as a distributed systems engineer at Dgraph Labs.
Tushar is a final year undergraduate, pursuing his Bachelor’s of Technology in Aerospace engineering at IIT Kanpur, India. His research interests include NLP and the applications of AI for social good. He has previously worked as an intern under Prof. Fumiko Takeda at the University of Tokyo, and also at Mastercard, India. Tushar has worked under Prof. Ashutosh Modi at IIT Kanpur on Affective NLP. He is currently part of the IITK Consulting Group that is working towards helping social organizations and nonprofits with AI solutions.
