SHORT BIO

I am the leader of the Higher Predators and Conservation group at British Antarctic Survey, and hold honorary positions at the University of Exeter and University of Cambridge. My research concentrates on the population, physiological and evolutionary ecology of seabirds, particularly albatrosses and petrels. I work closely with BirdLife International, the Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (ACAP) and the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR), helping develop strategies to improve knowledge of seabirds and other marine taxa, and their conservation.
