SHORT BIO
Cassandra (they/them) is a non-binary researcher and tutor in the School of Psychological Sciences. My research interests focus broadly on the integration of social psychology and applied science in approaches to equity and diversity, social motor coordination, and experiences of bias and stigma in particular for gender, sexuality, and relationships. My current research assesses differential experiences in unconscious bias toward individuals of transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming identities using virtual embodiment and virtual reality simulations. This research further investigates the potential dynamical systems which might be present during such interactions.
