Aligning Global Engineering Graduate Program Priorities
Welcome to Part I of the two-part, online workshop series on Aligning Global Engineering Graduate Program Priorities, funded by the National Science Foundation. The focus of Part I will be on the following questions:
What is Global Engineering? What do global engineers need to know and know how to do?
How do we achieve these learning objectives through graduate education?
The goal of this workshop is to generate consensus on a Body of Knowledge within the emerging field of Global Engineering, working together to: (i) develop and align learning objectives and graduate curricula programming and (ii) strengthen collaboration amongst Global Engineering and other related programs in the United States.
Please review the following background documents: North American Global Engineering Programs Summary; Part I Workshop Participant Survey Summary; and Introduction to Bloom’s Taxonomy.
