IRPS 2026 Tutorials will be held in Tucson, Arizona from March 22 to 23, 2026. The IRPS Reliability Year in Review (YIR) session consists of three presentations reviewing the past year's reliability work by experts in the field for areas of high interest. It is a nice augmentation to the tutorials sessions immediately preceding and attendees may obtain keen reliability insights in short amount of time.

Wecome message from the General Chair

On behalf of the IRPS Management Committee and the IRPS Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 IEEE International Reliability Physics Symposium (IRPS), taking place March 22–26, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona - our first time meeting in this remarkable city. Now in its 64th year, IRPS remains the premier venue for presenting and discussing advances in the reliability of semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, and microelectronic systems. Our global community spans industry, academia, and research institutions, united by a commitment to deepening our understanding of the physics of failure and real world reliability challenges.

IRPS 2026 begins with two days of Tutorials, offering both foundational and advanced sessions covering topics across devices, circuits, systems, and advanced packaging. Our Year in Review presentations will highlight major developments shaping next generation technologies.

The technical program features distinguished keynote speakers from leading companies, national laboratories, and research organizations, along with a rich set of contributed and invited papers presented across three parallel tracks. We are pleased to again host invited talks from award recipients at ESREF 2025 and IIRW 2025, strengthening collaboration across the global reliability community.

On Tuesday evening, IRPS will host interactive workshops for in depth discussions on emerging reliability topics. A mid week poster session will offer another lively opportunity for technical exchange. I extend my sincere appreciation to our patrons, exhibitors, authors, reviewers, and attendees—your contributions and continued support make IRPS possible.

I look forward to welcoming you to Tucson and hope you enjoy its world renowned and unique desert setting, as we gather for another outstanding IRPS.

Christine Hau Riege General Chair, IRPS 2026

About IRPS

The IEEE International Reliability Physics Symposium (IRPS) is the premiere conference for engineers and scientists to present new and original work in the area of microelectronics reliability. Drawing participants from the United States, Europe, Asia, and all parts of the world, IRPS seeks to understand the reliability of semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, and microelectronic assemblies through an improved understanding of both the physics of failure as well as the application environment. IRPS provides numerous opportunities for attendees to increase their knowledge and understanding of all aspects of microelectronics reliability, and to meet and network with reliability colleagues from around the world.
